Founded by Archie James Allen in 1932, A.J. Allen performs commercial and industrial plumbing, heating, air-conditioning, process piping and underground utilities across Central Iowa. Over the course of 85 years, A.J. Allen has gone from a two-man shop to a company that now employs over 85 people. 

Whether it be excavation, installation, backfilling or pipework, A.J. Allen has it covered. Their highly trained employees have the equipment, personnel and experience to expertly provide all your mechanical contracting needs. Offering a wide variety of pipe work, ranging from stainless steel, polyethylene, fiberglass and more, A.J. A.J. Allen also offers a complete Preventative Maintenance Service, utilizing monthly, quarterly and semi-annual checklists to ensure that each system operates efficiently and economically.
